In the early 90s, Barone was a regular on Carol & Company as a co-star with Carol Burnett. Barone was the actress's former wife in her first Friends performance. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she left to take on a full-time job. She was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 to 1996 and The War at Home between 2005 and 2007.
