Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the combat sports. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd felt more confident following her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all in the 1st round. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took the next match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used superior wrestling to beat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy with the catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in second round by TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with the ground and pound strategy and earned an TKO second-round victory. She continued her dominance and racked up an impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first few seconds and received a bonus for her performance during the night. She fought her first big fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd was victorious in the unanimous decision after some great exchanges among the pair of fighters was awarded the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In her recent fight for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
