Anya Volz, a comedian who hails from Vermont who is a resident of New York City. Men from all over America say they have found her stand-up as funny and surprising, and even not that preached. Her mother is of Spanish and English descendance. Four of her siblings belong to her father's old marriage. The family she grew up with was in Buenos Aires from the time she was 6 until they relocated to Victoria, London. According to Taylor-Joy the move was traumatic and she decided to not learn English in hopes of returning to Argentina. She was forced to transfer schools in Northlands to Hill House. Her next school was Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in various productions. In the year she turned 16 she dropped out of school to follow a full-time career path in acting. Taylor-Joy always knew her goal was to be an actress. This was achieved when Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management provided Taylor-Joy with a modeling job.
