Jessica Ellen Cornish, popularly called Jessie J, is a famous English musician and singer. Her unique style of music that fuses soul vocals as well as electropop, pop and hip-hop has brought her fame from a very young age. Jessie has also won numerous nominations and awards, like the 2011 'Critics Choice Brit Awards', and "BBC's Sound of 2011.' Her professional career started at the early age of eleven when she was cast in "Whistle Down the Wind,' a musical that was written by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. Then, she was a part of the National Youth Music Theater and was a part of their production of "The Late Sleepers," which was first performed in 2002. The year 2011, when she was famous by releasing her debut studio album "Who You Are'. In the UK only the album was sold at 105,000 units while in the US it was 34,000. It was also the top 2 on the UK Albums Chart', and as number 11 on "US Billboard 200..' Jessie is also well-known for her charitable work and involvement with charities like 'Children in Need' and 'Comic Relief.'
